The effect inflicts (2 + (Total Voidic Damage Attribute)) / 2 Voidic Damage to mobs around the caster in a 2 block radius every second.
This means that Voidic Damage on your main hand weapon contributes to the aura's damage. For example, a +6 
will cause the aura to do 4 Voidic Damage every second.
The damage is calculated every time damage is applied, so if you switch your main hand weapon to something else while the aura is active then the damage will change.
