Paranoia is an effect the player experiences over time while lingering in the Void. Eating will increase Paranoia build up.

At maximum Paranoia, The Corrupted Pawn will spawn.

Effects:

• You hear things that aren't really there
• The fog will slowly turn red
• Voidic Crystal Ore will appear that isn't actually there
• Occasional half a heart of damage is dealt
• A heartbeat can be heard
